The main season for balloon rides is from around March to October.
The panoramic balloon ride and the sunrise ride take place all year round, in foggy areas such as the Mittelland, Lucerne and Zurich from May to October. Areas that are safe from fog include Eastern Switzerland near Appenzell, for example.
The Alpine ride can be done all year round in the Bernese Oberland. In Graubünden, it takes place in the winter months.
